Monthly Sound bath experience and meditation information
We have all of props needed including mats and blankets but you are welcome to bring extras such as more blankets, a pillow, bolster, eye pillow or scarf to cover your eyes.
New to a sound bath? Use these helpful tips to prepare:
- Dress for comfort
- Be on time- at least 5-10mins. prior to the start time.
- Turn off your phone upon arrival
- Prepare your space- a yoga mat and a blanket will be provided. If you know you might be sensitive to light or want something specific to help you get comfortable, feel free to bring extra blankets, pillows or anything you may need to keep you comfortable. Eye pillows are available for purchase in studio.
- Clear your mind- this is a form of meditation. Plan to relax, follow the sound and stay awake.
- Be open to feelings that arise- Sound baths encourage you to drop into a meditative state that can bring up stuck emotions and sensations in the body.
- Take care of your body before and after the session. Use the restroom prior and after the experience, hydrate and get a good night's rest.
