Born and raised in the Theravada Buddhist tradition, Nolan is a dedicated student and teacher of meditation, mindfulness, and movement. His interests and expertise span a wide domain with a background that includes previous careers in healthcare, clinical research, software engineering, and product management. Born and raised in the Theravada Buddhist tradition, Nolan is a dedicated student and teacher of meditation, mindfulness, and movement. His interests and expertise span a wide domain with a background that includes previous careers in healthcare, clinical research, software engineering, and product management. To deepen his understanding of functional anatomy in asana practice, he’s currently training in massage therapy alongside teaching yoga. His practice integrates Eastern philosophy with Western scientific thought, providing a nourishing and balanced experience for both body and mind.
Nolan's journey into yoga was sparked by his encounter with Michael Singer's book, "The Untethered Soul," which introduced him to the spiritual philosophy of yoga. He strongly resonates with the yogic principle of quieting the mind to tap into the wisdom of the inner self and aligning one's life accordingly. He firmly believes in the interconnectedness of life, understanding that we bring about harmony in our outside world by first achieving harmony within ourselves.
Inspired by a variety of movement and mindfulness teachers, Nolan's primary influences include Michael Singer, Ram Dass, Paramahansa Yogananda, Jack White, and Ido Portal. In his classes, you can expect grounded, balanced, and intentional instruction, aimed at guiding you inward and facilitating a state of flow.

Yoga Path Wellness evolved from the love of human kindness. My yoga training took place in 2015, in a yurt on the side of a hill in the Palisades with Michelle Mazur. The drive to get to class was aspiring! Heat of the sun or pouring rain we all walked thru the bushes on that pebbled path, (off the side of the road) to get to the yurt for our training. A space of safety, love and present awareness.
Our mission is to create a sanctuary where people feel safe and nurtured in all stages of their lives. Our purpose is to be a guiding light on your yogic journey. To hold space for your growth, your challenges, and your triumphs. This studio is a canvas where your practice unfolds, and your essence shines.
Many people today are over stressed, anxious, burnt out, experiencing all levels of trauma, both physically & emotional and substance abuse.
At Yoga Path Wellness we provide a class structure that focuses on arriving into oneself. We begin with the breath followed by meditation and move into the physical postures to guide people to internal awareness and learn to embrace the beauty of their imperfections.
